Overview

Mrs. Hirsch has over 16 years in clinical practice and administration. Her experience ranges from being a line staff, Child and adolescent clinician as part of the Hospital Prevention Team, Intensive Case Management team and Office/Community Outpatient services. For the last five years Mrs. Hirsch managed Child, Adolescent and Adult outpatient services for the DuPage County Health Department.
As an administrator Mrs. Hirsch has demonstrated expertise in:

  • Concurrent Documentation leading to improved clinical performance and maximizing service capacity
  • Documentation that supports compliance, client driven service and efficiency
  • Improving Organizational Efficiency to increase access to services


Education

Mrs. Hirsch is a graduate of the University of Oregon and Simmons College. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a Masters in Social Work. She obtained her License of Clinical Social Work in 2004.

Managed a clinical team of staff servicing child, adolescents and adult.  Worked consistently with the team on efficient ways to meet productivity standards. Worked cooperatively with a group of managers in developing trainings on documentation efficiency, compliance and best practice models.  Provided concurrent documentation trainings for the county and community providers as needed.

Senior Clinician Consultant               DuPage County Health Department Lombard, IL (2002 – 2006)

Worked in the hospital prevention team, intensive case management team and outpatient team as a senior clinician. Completed mental health assessment including diagnostic evaluations. Provide home based services, including: case management, individual and family counseling, crisis intervention, and safety planning. Coordinate with community providers including schools, court system and other treatment providers.  Member of the clinical leadership team which addresses specific needs in the child and adolescent unit, as well as community trainings. Provide individual and group clinical supervision. Train new employees and interns.
