Consultation Options - How we can assist you

We would be happy to come onsite or meet in an online training session to work with your staff. The degree of what we can do for your organization is based upon your particular needs, and varies from organization to organization. Normally an organization will have one of the MTM Services' Consulting team come onsite to assess your change needs. After we have met with you, we can then quickly determine what type(s) of consultation/training sessions are best for your organization.

Currently our normal engagements are in the following areas, although we are always open to consult on other areas if requested (If we do not feel that the requested topic area is one that we have expertise in, then we will refer the client to another consultation firm):

1) Specific Topic Training Sessions: We can work with small select groups of staff all the way up to organization wide training sessions. Typical topics for our training's are similar to those you have read in David's book, How to Deliver Accountable Care, or Scott Lloyd's book Using Data to Drive Your Service Delivery Strategies, topics like:

- Concurrent Documentation Design and Implementation
- Data Mapping and Gap Analysis
- No Show Management
- Productivity Requirements
- Utilization Review/Management
- Use of the DLA 20 Functioning Scale
- Leadership and Coaching Model training for Managers and Supervisors
- Data-Driven Decision Making
- The use of Performance Standards/Evaluations for all staff
- Rightsizing an Organization
- Integrated Organizational Models
- Practice Management Models
- Outlier Management models
- Customer Service & Marketing
- - Customer Service Approaches, etc.
(Again, we are willing to work on other topic areas, but these represent the main areas normally requested/needed by our clients.)

2) Project Management Planning / Change Initiative Format: This format allows us to establish a project management plan that utilizes empowered groups of staff to create change recommendations to address the organization's challenges and implement them under the supervision of your organization's executive management. This model creates buy in at all levels, and has proven to be very effective for our clients. We have facilitated Project Management Plans with over 100 organizations across the country, which allows us to readily offer benchmarks and change solutions that are inline with the current national trends.

3) SPQM Data Measurement System: SPQM ™ is a data measurement system that pulls its information from your current enterprise software, which means no additional keying and no additional software (As long as you have Microsoft Excel). SPQM is not only a powerful data reporting system, but it utilizes monthly consults with an MTM Services representative to review your organization's performance over the previous month to look for celebrations and/or concerns in your performance data.

In addition to helping your team focus on celebrations and/or concerns, your training focuses your team members on how to operate the data reports, make more objective decisions regarding standard quality improvement areas like:,

1.Practice Management/Operations
2.Revenue Monitoring
3.Utilization Management
4.Unit/Staff Performance and Practice Variance

This integrated level of data measurement provides an excellent tool for managers to better manage their units/programs.

David Lloyd, Scott Lloyd, and Bill Schmelter Ph.D. currently work with our SPQM clients via the Internet monthly. Each consultant brings a specific skill set and focus to the meeting as they work to review over 2 million service events per month on average, which offers our SPQM clients a wealth of benchmarking knowledge.
