Purpose

MTM’s longitudinal costing data from multiple ongoing statewide projects lends national trend lines and comparison points for organizations in our cost finding consultations. Our experts work with a true cost-versus- revenue comparison to break down margin by position type (i.e., MD, APRN, LCSW, etc.) and CPT/HCPCS code, giving organizations a very clear measure when making changes to improve their systems.

Process

  • Online Kickoff Meeting

  • Immediate follow up for all questions via email as the team works on their data entry

  • One follow up meeting to review and confirm the final data and make adjustments as needed

  • One written report showing the final costing numbers by position and code for the agency with a comparison to national numbers and suggestions for next steps based upon the numbers

  • Access to copyright protected data capture, calculation and report tools from the MTM Services resource library relevant to the consultation purchased

Timeframe: Timeline of consultation is adaptable to the organization's pace (average is 4 to 8 weeks).
