Enhancing the Psychiatric Skills of Mid-level Practitioners

Supporting Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to Maximize their Behavioral Health Service Delivery


Purpose

As CBHOs stratify their medical service delivery, Nurse Practitioners and PAs are transitioning to meet this need.  Those new to the field of Behavioral Health need assistance in developing new skills to provide effective, team based, measurement driven care.  This module will work with mid-level Practitioners to identify areas where they need additional support and provide customized training and consultation to advance their professional growth. 

Process

  • Planning meeting with providers and designated leadership to develop a training and consultation curriculum that meets the unique needs of the provider team.  

  • Training and consultation meetings every two to four weeks based on organizational needs

  • Services resource library relevant to the consultation purchased

  • Price includes all project management, research hours, data and operational analysis, report writing and presentation creation outside of the team’s Internet/Face to face meetings

Timeframe: 4-6 months

Outcomes:

● Increased staff competency,

● Improvement in Team Based Service Delivery and Measurement Based Treatment
